Matta / rebrand and website

The problem

Matta UK is a leading name in playground safety surfacing. Its brand and website had not been touched since the company started in 1992. The identity had drifted too childlike for a serious B2B buyer, the site did not work properly on a phone, and the pages a buyer needed sat behind too many clicks.

The work

A complete rebrand and rebuild. The icon was designed by Not Another for Matta’s New Zealand branch; I built the rest of the UK brand around it. I restructured the journeys so specifiers could find products without a map, and broke dense pages into sections a buyer can scan. Certificates, case studies and a surface designer now carry the proof a specifier needs.

The outcome

A brand and website the business can trade on for the next decade. No performance figure is claimed here: none is evidenced yet.
